| Expert Group on the Performance Assessment of Astrophysical Equipment Conducted Site Inspection of the Millimeter-Wave Radio Astronomy Observation Base at Delingha, Qinghai Province |

July 5-6, 2009, assessment expert group, including researchers SU Hongjun, HU Jingyao, WANG Jingxiu and QIU Yuhai, went to Qinghai Station of PMO, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and conducted site inspection of the 13.7m Millimeter-Wave Radio Telescope, accompanied by LI Jiuli, Vice Director of the Project Department at NAOC, and REN Xiaoping, Chief of Quality Management Office at PMO. Chief Engineer Yingxi Zuo reported to the experts in detail the running and openning of the 13.7m Millimeter-Wave Radio Telescope, the rennovation and reform of equipments, the talent training, the scientific aims, the innovation achievements, and the development planning. Experts investigated the site of the observatory, the telescope equipment, the machine room, and the laboratory, and had an informal discussion with the staffs of maintenance and logistics. The assessment expert group fully affirmed the works such as th running of the 13.7m Millimeter-Wave Radio Telescope and the rennovation and reform of equipments, et al.. (IT Department) The experts are listening to Yingxi Zuo, the Chief Enginer, about the testtng and maintenance of equipments in the maintenance season of summer |
