On July 1,  2011, Prof. ZHANG Xiaobing, JIANG Xiaojun and engineer HOU Zhigang from  National Astronomical Observatory conducted site inspection for SONG 1m  and 50cm projects. After the inspection, Prof. ZHANG Xiaobing organized  the SONG group members to hold a meeting. MA Junmei was invited to take  part in this meeting. Prof. JIANG Xiaojun reported the main goals and  results of this inspection, the basic contents and requirements of SONG  project.

He also  represented Xinglong station, National Astronomical observatory, at the  meeting, sent invitation to staff of Qinghai station, and suggested wide  communication between the two stations.
